The Midland Police Department on Thursday investigated a double homicide.
The two victims, who have not been identified, were believed to have been shot inside a small structure that was set on fire.
Police and firefighters responded to reports of a disturbance and fire at approximately 2:30 a.m. next to a mobile home in the 6300 block of Kanawha.
“Two bodies were found inside the burning structure with gunshot wounds,” an official statement said.
No suspects have been identified, and the victims’ bodies were sent to Tarrant County for autopsy and identification.
