On October 21, 2016, an investigator with the Department of Family and Protective Services contacted the Lubbock Police Department to file a missing person case on behalf of three siblings.
The investigator informed officers their department obtained a court order to remove the children, ages 8, 5 and 2 from the parent’s custody, however the investigator was unable to locate the family.
The parent has since been located, but the children were not with her. Our investigators now have reason to believe the children are in the New Mexico area with family members. Investigators are working closely with local New Mexico law enforcement to locate the children. During this investigation, the family has been uncooperative with investigators.
The children are still considered at risk, and we are asking for the public’s help in finding these three children. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call Crime Line at 806-741-1000 or 911.
