An Odessa man was shot dead Friday evening in Pecos County, according to authorities.
The Pecos County Sheriff’s Office reports Allen Dale Mince, 53, of Odessa, died from multiple gun shot wounds. Robert D. York, 17, of Monahans, has been charged with Mince’s murder.
Authorities were dispatched to the Imperial Reservoir in Pecos County just after 10:00 p.m. in reference to a shooting. The investigation revealed York had shot and killed Mince.
York is in currently in the Pecos County Jail and is charged with first degree murder.
The shooting remains under investigation.
