According to information CNN acquired from its affiliate KFOR, Patricia Spann, 43, and Misty Spann, 25, were arrested in Stephens County, Oklahoma this week.
They married each other earlier this year in Comanche County, according to CNN.
Patricia Spann is Misty’s biological mother. Patricia lost custody of Misty and two other children when they were young. Misty was raised by her grandmother with Patricia reuniting with Misty about two years ago.
But it goes further than that. CNN, again quoting information from KFOR, said Patricia Spann previously married her biological son. That marriage lasted for two years and was annulled in 2010.
If convicted of felony incest, the punishment could be up to 10 years in prison.
