Officials with the Texas Department of Public Safety reported a mother and daughter died after a rollover wreck in Potter County Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was at 1:40 p.m. on US Highway 60 and Dowell Road.
Lacie White, 18, of Amarillo, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe eastbound on US 60 approximately 100 yards west of Dowell Road. DPS said White veered into the center median, over-corrected the vehicle and lost control. The Tahoe rolled over several times.
Lacie White and her mother, Pamela White, 43, were pronounced dead on scene by a Justice of the Peace.
The accident was still under investigation Thursday. The road conditions were dry and no other vehicles were involved.
