The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is scheduled to close a portion of the eastbound Marsha Sharp Freeway (MSF) frontage road on Monday, Aug 22. The day-time closure will allow crews to safely continue paving the new frontage roads between 66th Street and Milwaukee Avenue.
Starting at 66th Street, traffic will be reduce to one lane, then at the MSF/Spur 327 split, the frontage road will be closed to Milwaukee Avenue. The lane restrictions and closure will begin just after the morning rush hour.
Eastbound MSF traffic wanting to access Spur 327 will continue on the freeway to Milwaukee Avenue to connect with the Spur. The roadway is expected to reopen by afternoon rush
Drivers can anticipate various lane closures along the eastbound MSF frontage road throughout next week. The work will take place weather permitting.
