The Lubbock Reese Redevelopment Authority, the governing board for Reese Technology Center, is pleased to announce the appointment of Murvat Musa as its Executive Director effective July 1, 2016.
Ms. Musa has been the Deputy Executive Director at Reese since August 2015. She has over eight years of experience in the public sector, having previously been the city manager in Ransom Canyon, Texas, and more than 15 years’ experience in the private sector with positions in such industries as defense and mortgage banking. Ms. Musa has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from George Mason University and a Master in Public Administration from Texas Tech University.
Through a proven record of operational leadership, financial management, and relationship management, Ms. Musa brings experience and expertise to meet new and changing challenges as Reese continues its success as a premiere center for Technology, Research, and Education in West Texas.
