The Hale County Sheriff’s Department asked for the public’s help to identify the person or persons who shot a man on July 4.
A 66-year-old man heard shots or fireworks at his residence. So, he went to go check it out. While he looking he was hit in the arm with a bullet. He drove himself to Covenant Plainview with non-life-threatening injuries.
The name was not released and officers do not know if the shooting was intentional or accidental.
