An Amber Alert has been issued for a missing Grand Junction girl.
Raeanna Rosencrans, 12, was last seen getting into a car in the area of D 1/2 Road and Larry’s Meadow Drive in Grand Junction around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Raeanna is described as a white girl, about 5 feet 1 inch tall and 135 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top with a white design, black jeans, black Adidas shoes, and a black backpack with a southwest design.
Police have identified the person of interest as 47-year-old Jody Haskin. Haskin is described as a white man with brown eyes who is about 6 feet 3 inches tall and 230 pounds. He is balding and wears glasses.
Grand Junction police said Haskin is Raeanna’s stepfather, but he does not have parental rights. He is a registered sex offender and currently has a warrant for sexual assault on a child.
The green car mentioned in Wednesday’s Amber Alert has been recovered in Rifle. Police are still trying to determine how it got there.
