All three of the law enforcement officers injured in the shooting that killed Detective Micah Flick have now been released from the hospital.
Deputy Scott Stone was released Wednesday, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. The sheriff’s office posted the following message to Facebook on his behalf.
The shooting happened February 5 at the Murray Hill Apartments in the area of Murray Boulevard and Galley Road, where officers were investigating an auto theft. Deputy Micah Flick was killed in the shooting. The suspect was also killed.

El Paso County Sgt. Jake Abendshan and Colorado Springs police detective Marcus Yanez were injured in the shooting. They were both released from the hospital the next day.
A bystander, Thomas Villanueva, was also injured. According to his GoFundMe account, he continues to recover in the hospital.
