United Supermarkets will host a job fair Thursday, Nov. 3 and Friday, Nov. 4 to select team members for the new store in South Lubbock at 1585 and Indiana. Scheduled to open Dec. 7, the store will bring as many as 200 new jobs to the Lubbock community.
Job seekers can visit Aldersgate United Methodist Church at 10306 Indiana Ave. Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. to submit an application for employment and begin the interview process. Positions will be available throughout the store, including department clerks, bakers, cooks, stockers, meat cutters, checkers and sackers.
“Our team will be conducting interviews, as well as extending job offers and completing paperwork throughout the entire job fair,” said Shannon Elrod, director of talent management for The United Family. “We are excited to continue our investment throughout Lubbock by opening a new store and providing additional jobs to the community.”
