A Odessa father is behind bars after attacking his son with a pipe.
According to the Odessa Police Department, Donnie Ray Morgan Sr. and his wife were arguing Thursday evening at their home in the 500 block of Lindy.
Following the argument, the wife left the home with her 20-year-old son and began to walk across the street. Morgan then came out and began to chase his son with a pipe and attempted to hit him.
A witness confirms that they saw Morgan chasing his son and swinging a pipe at him.
Morgan then fled before police arrived on scene.
Odessa Police detectives obtained a warrant for Morgan, who was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
