One person is dead following a one vehicle rollover in Hockley County early Saturday morning.
According to the DPS, the accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 385 and Farm-to-Market Road 1585 around 4:30 a.m.
Authorities said the vehicle was traveling westward on Farm-to-Market Road 1585 and was attempting to turn left at the intersection of U.S. Highway 385. The vehicle did not attempt to stop at the intersection and went through the intersection while making the left turn.
The vehicle went into a barrow ditch and rolled. The driver was ejected and died at the scene.
The DPS has identified driver as Rigoberto G. Rodriguez, 35, of Sundown.
The accident remains under investigation.
