The Texas Department of Public Safety said one person is dead after a rollover in Lubbock County.
DPS said the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office got a call around 4 a.m. Monday of a suspicious vehicle on Highway 87 near F.M. 41 in south Lubbock County.
According to DPS, when law enforcement arrived on scene, they found a male unresponsive.
DPS said it appeared the vehicle rolled over, ejecting the driver. They said the driver did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt.
DPS identified the driver as Larry Isiah Garcia, 34, of Lubbock. DPS said he was pronounced dead on the scene.
