Emergency Crews were called to 34th Street and Boston Avenue for a pedestrian accident Wednesday just before 10:30 a.m.
There was a serious injury reported. EMS took one person to University Medical Center. However, police did not believe the injury was life threatening.
“[The driver of] a pickup was traveling through a parking lot attempting to park,” police said. “As he was backing into a space he hit a female walking across the parking lot.”
