Two people were killed and two other were injured following a one vehicle rollover accident early Saturday morning in Moore County.

According to the DPS, the accident occurred on Farm-to-Market Road 119 five miles south of Sunray around 12:15 a.m.

Authorities said Amanda Beatriz Rosales, 31, of Spearman and her 8-year-old son Gabriel Rosales were killed when they were ejected from a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup. 

Rosales drove off the road during a curve over-corrected to the left started skidding and then rolled several times ejecting three of four occupants. Trooper indicated that Rosales was on her phone when she ran off the roadway.

Julio Mendez, 3, and Armando Mendoza, 34, both from Spearman, were also in the pickup. Mendoza was the only person seat belted properly.  Mendez and Mendoza were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries, non-threatening.  

The accident remains under investigation, the DPS said.
