Motorists traveling SH 114 (19th Street), FM 2255 (4th Street) and I-27 this week can expect various lane closures, as Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) maintenance crews make repairs to the roadways.
A mobile operation to make pothole repairs to both north-and southbound I-27 is scheduled for tomorrow, March 15, and possibly Friday, March 18. Lane closures are planned.
Then, Wednesday, March, 16 crews will make road repairs to SH 114 at FM 179. Work will continue on SH 114 Thursday before moving onto repairs on FM 2255. East-and westbound traffic should anticipate lane closures and delays at both locations.
Motorists should expect delays and are asked to slow down and drive with caution through the work zone for their safety and the safety of the workers.
Work will take place weather permitting.
