The Amarillo Department reported a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Southwest Amarillo
The accident occurred in 4900 block of South Coulter Monday morning.
Police said the exiting a parking lot and didn’t see the victim, who was crossing a street with her husband.
The victim, identified as Theresa Pohlmeier Rider, 66, was rushed to the hospital where she later died.
No charges have been filed against the driver at this time.
The incident will be reviewed by the Randall county District Attorney’s office.
