The Buddy Holly Center is excited to announce Buddy’s 80th Birthday Bash in honor of Lubbock’s most famous son, Buddy Holly. Patrons are invited to visit the Center to enjoy events and activities for the whole family! Girls on Film: 40 Years of Women in Rock will be on display in the Fine Arts Gallery. An Introduction: Images by L David Pike will be in the Foyer Gallery.

Wednesday, September 7th at the Buddy Holly Center

  • The Allison House will be open until 3:30 p.m.
  • Screenings of The Real Buddy Holly Story throughout the day
  • Children’s activities: Instrument Petting Zoo, Homemade Maracas and Buddy Glasses 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
