Every wonder what your pets do all day after you go to work or school? This adorable movie from the studio that brought us the Minions show us what transpires in the Secret Life of Pets. Rated PG and running an hour-and-a-half, you can take an inside peak at your pet’s adventures at either Cinemark, the Alamo, Premiere, and Stars and Stripes.

Lubbock Community Theatre presents Cinderella, by Rogers and Hammerstein, adapted for youth performers. It’s the timeless tale we all know and love, with the Fairy Godmother, Price Charming, and of course, Cinderella. It’s this weekend and next, with Thursday, Friday and Saturday night performances at 7:30, and Sunday matinees at 2:00. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Another youth production for you Friday and Saturday mornings all this month: Lubbock Moonlight Musicals presents Into The Woods, Junior, at the amphitheater in Mackenzie Park. It’s the story of a couple who travels through fairie-tales to have a family. It runs about an hour and the show starts at 9, again Friday and Saturday Mornings, all this month. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, through Select-A-Seat.

And Moonlight Musicals presents Pirates of Penzance for the next three weekends. The Gilbert and Sullivan classic will keep you laughing at the Amphitheater in Mackenzie Park. You can brings your lawnchairs and your coolers, and the gates open at 7:00 p.m. for the 8:00 p.m. performance. Get you $20 adult or $7 children’s tickets — or splurge for premium seating — through Select-A-Seat.
