October is National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month as decreed by President Ronald Reagan in 1988.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness (PILA) Lubbock invites you to our Fifth Annual Memorial Service, “See the Light Within.”

This year, Samantha Evans from Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, author of Love Letters to Miscarried Moms, is our special guest and speaker. She will be sharing her inspiring words that will help those who are and have been in the midst of grieving. Based upon Amazon reviews, her book is “raw and real,” “inspirational and moving,” and “comfort food for the grieving soul.”  Fellowship and refreshments will be available after the service.

In addition to the memorial service, the City of Lubbock is giving PILA Lubbock Special Recognition and acknowledging October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month at the October 13, 2016 City Council Meeting.
