Jon Santos Delgado-Gordon, 26, is wanted for murder according to information released Wednesday by the Amarillo Police Department and the Potter County Sheriff’s Department.
Amarillo Police said an arrest warrant was issued Monday after the murder of Jacob Isaac Valdez, 36, in the 1600 block of LaSalle Street.
Police said, “Officers were sent to a home … on what was initially described as a stabbing. Officers found one adult male who was deceased at the home. He was not a resident of that address.”

On 1-4-2017, officers in the Amarillo Police Department Proactive Criminal Enforcement Unit (PACE) gathered information on the possible location of Jon Santos Delgado-Gordon, who had a warrant for murder out of Potter County. Delgado-Gordon was located in the 7000 block of East IH-40 and taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for Murder.
