On Monday, June 15, 2015, at approximately 8:50 p.m., patrol officers responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Subway Restaurant located inside the Valero Corner Store at 1129 SE Loop 289. Two suspects dressed in all black, hooded sweatshirt, wearing masks and armed with rifles entered the store and demanded the money from the register. The suspects got away with an undetermined amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
Detectives are investigating.
