Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a reported shooting in South Lubbock Sunday afternoon.
The incident was reported in the 7400 block of Avenue X around 3:35 p.m.
Lubbock Police, the Lubbock Fire Department and UMC EMS were dispatched to the scene.
A male subject was transported by UMC EMS from the scene with a gunshot wound to University Medical Center.
We’re told detectives are being called to the scene of the shooting.
