A police report said officers were looking for four suspects after a drive-by shooting early Monday morning.

“Patrol officers responded to a shots-fired call at 1914 38th Street at approximately 1:30 a.m.,” police said in a written statement.

The victim was listed in the police report as a 21-year-old male. Police told KFYO radio that the victim was walking toward his residence when a vehicle drove up to him and shots were fired.

At least one of the shots hit the victim in the abdomen. Police described the injuries as non-life-threatening.

Police issued the following written statement:

This morning, Monday, June 15, 2015, patrol officers responded to a shots fired call at 1914 38th Street at approximately 1:30 a.m. Officers located one victim who had at least one gunshot wound. That victim was transported to UMC with non-life threatening injuries. Detectives are investigating.
