Lubbock Police responded to the report of a robbery at 50th and Avenue Q at about 9:30 Thursday morning.
Police said a suspect demanded money from a man at a set of gas pumps. The man said no. Police said the suspect then pulled a knife and demanded money again. And again, the man said no.
The suspect then left, according to police. A witness called police, but the man who was targeted for the robbery left. Police found someone matching the suspect description, and he was arrested for a previous warrant.
