Jerry Nale 18 of Lubbock remains in the Intensive Care Unit of the Covenant Medical Center recovering from injuries sustained in the Tuesday morning vehicle crash that occurred in Portales [NM]. As previously reported he and a female juvenile were transported from Roosevelt General Hospital to medical facilities in Lubbock due to the severity of their injuries. Another male juvenile was treated and released and subsequently returned home by another family member.
The female juvenile did succumb to injuries sustained in the crash several hours later at UMC in Lubbock.
Portales Police Department “Crash Reconstruction Team” investigation is on-going and working closely with the on-going potential criminal investigation.
The investigation is on-going and more information will be released as soon as it is cleared for release.
