Lubbock Police are searching for two male suspects who robbed a Northeast Lubbock restaurant Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at Wiley’s BBQ, located in the 1800 block of Parkway Drive, just before 9:30 p.m.
According to police, two men entered the restaurant after closing and demanded money.
One of the suspects then struck the owner in the head with a metal pipe several times.
Police said the suspects them stole personal items from the victim and items from the restaurant safe that was open.
The two men then fled the scene and headed north on Redbud Avenue.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS but refused transport to the hospital.
