The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in downtown Wichita Falls is officially open.
The hall of fame is located in the First Wichita building, better known as Big Blue, on the first floor.
In November, hall of fame officials announced their plans to relocate the organization’s headquarters.
They are a non-profit that was chartered in December 1999, displaying wrestling memorabilia as far back as the Civil War.
Some of the items include rare photos, hall of fame inductee plaques, original wrestling gear, and even a few title belts.
PWHOF president “Cowboy” Johnny Mantell says they couldn’t be more excited to be in Wichita Falls.
“The city, the city council, everybody involved wanted to be a part of this and it just felt like it home,” Mantell said.
Museum admission is $3 for ages 6-65 and $2 for 66 and over, and military.
