The Lubbock Police Department would like to invite the public to a promotion, retirement and awards ceremony to be held next Tuesday, January 31st.
The ceremony will be at 3:00 p.m. at 916 Texas Avenue at the second floor of the Auditorium.
During the ceremony, LPD will recognize three promotions, celebrate 30 years of service for a retirement, and honor the Officer of the Year, Chase Bryant.
The three promotions will be for Corporal David Mora who will be promoted to Sergeant, Officer Eric Thoen who will be promoted to Detective, and Officer Chris Farmer who will be promoted to Detective.
Officer Adam Gutierriz will be retiring after 30 years of honorable service.
LPD would greatly appreciate your presence as they congratulate officers on a job well done.
A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
