Beginning Tuesday, May 31, 2016, the City of Lubbock with Utility Contractors of America will begin construction of Pump Station No.16 at 29th Drive and the Marsha Sharp Freeway. During the construction of the pump station, 29th Drive from the Marsh Sharp Freeway to Slide Rd. will be closed.
This phase of the project will restrict access for traffic on 29th Drive to and from the Marsha Sharp Freeway and Slide Rd. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction zone.
