The Lubbock Red Cross is helping a central Lubbock family after a house fire Monday night.

According to Lubbock Fire, they were called to a home in the 4800 block of 40th Street just before 10 Monday night.

Lubbock fire said when their units arrived, there was smoke coming out of the home. They found a fire in both the garage and the attic.

No one was injured. Lubbock Fire Rescue said two children, two adults, and four dogs were displaced by the fire and are receiving assistance from the Red Cross.
