Red Raider Fans pulled up to Rip Griffin Park as early as 11 o’clock Saturday morning to start tailgating Lubbock’s Second Super Regional baseball game against East Carolina at 2:00 p.m.

This game was sold-out within hours thanks to season ticket holders.

Lubbock resident and season ticket holder, Mark Moss, said he hasn’t missed a Red Raider baseball game since 1967.

“Of course, I was excited,” Moss said. “Two years ago it was special, this team has the makings to go all the way this year.”
