Red, White & Moo MilkFest, along with various other activities, will be held on Friday, July 3rd at various locations around Plainview.

Snack Pak 4Kids Golf Tournament will begin the festivities with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start for the 4-person scramble at the Plainview Country Club. Lunch will be included and all proceeds will benefit Snack Pak 4Kids-Plainview. Sponsorship levels are available ($2000 Platinum Team Sponsor includes a team of four, lunch, goodie bags, hole sponsorship, considerable acknowledgement during tournament activities, signage and announcements; $500 Team Sponsor includes a team of four, lunch, goodie bags, hole sponsorship, acknowledgement on tourney signs; $150 Hole Sponsor includes acknowledgement on tournament signage at one hole and $100 Individual Player includes lunch and goodie bag). Activities will continue with the Red, White & Moo parade beginning at 5 p.m. The parade will begin at Downtown Centennial Bank (201 W. 6th St.), head north on Austin street, turn right at 9th street going past the library and City Hall and head south on Broadway, ending at the Courthouse. Following the parade will be the Red, White & Moo Milkfest on the Courthouse lawn at 5th & Broadway from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Activities will  include music by the Plainview Symphony, bouncy houses, mobile dairy classroom, petting zoo, dairy tours and of course, free ice cream, milk and cheese. United Blood Services will also be on hand for those who wish to donate blood.

The festivities will commence with the Chamber’s Annual Firework show beginning at dark at RunningWater Draw Park.
