The Reese Technology Center announces the retirement of Bill Miller as its Executive Director on June 30, 2016. 

During Bill’s more than six years of service, Reese has experienced significant economic and strategic growth to further its role as a premier regional center for technology, research, engineering, education, and manufacturing.  With Bill’s leadership, the Reese team has been awarded recognition by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce, nominated for Small Business of the Year to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and nominated to the Texas Economic Development Council for a statewide community development award by the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance. 

In 2012, Reese received the “Trailblazer Award” for innovation from the Texas Society of Engineers.  Bill has significantly contributed to shifting the paradigm of Reese; setting the stage for its continued future success.  The Board wishes Bill and his wife, Linda, well as they enjoy Bill’s retirement together. 

Murvat Musa, currently the Deputy Executive Director, has been named as the new Executive Director.
