Very rarely do you find a collection of athletes that put themselves behind the team, especially after missing the postseason the year before; but that’s what this 2016 Texas Tech baseball team now embodies.

Why would a Friday night starter, and one who’s pitched (successfully, I might add) at the College World Series, give up his prominent role, stepping aside for freshman to fill his role?

That’s the tone former Cooper Pirate, and Tech junior right-hander, Ryan Moseley has set for this 2016 season.

That’s the tone Moseley set on Monday afternoon at the Regional Championships with the season on the line.

And that’s the tone that could carry this team back to the College World Series.
