Restoring Hope of Lubbock would like to invite you out on April 3rd to our 2nd annual Divine Mercy In Action Event Sunday.
The event is being held at East Broadway entrance to MacKenzie Park from 2:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
This event is geared toward our homeless and our working poor. We will have many churches out there along with several street ministries, we will put each of the divine mercy corporal acts into action.
Some of the things going on at the event include providing meals, giving away clothing, providing free haircuts, hygiene bags, live music, a chance to write to a prisoner and a medical table with three doctors and the community health clinic volunteering to take their vitals.
They will also give out information and hold a balloon release for anyone that has lost their lives on the streets or in their lives.
