The wait is over, Revolution Farmers Market opened today inside the South Plains Mall. A group of 20 local farmers are offering everything from free range chicken eggs, cow milk, goat milk, vine ripe tomatoes, bake goods, homemade hand soaps and so much more. Owner, Quinten Clendenen, could not think of better place to be and the South Plains Mall welcomed this new concept with open arms.

The concept of having a farmers market inside a mall gives shoppers an opportunity to shop local and since it is a retail store, the vendors do not even have to be present  to sell their products. This makes it easy and convenient for everyone involved.

“We have the ability to provide for the city of Lubbock, where you don’t have to go to grocery stores and get produce from Mexico, California or Florida, you can get it locally,” Clendenen said. “It’s fresh, it tastes better and you’re supporting local farmers.”
