UPDATE: On Friday morning, police released the following statement:

At approximately 7:30 p.m. Thursday evening, the Lubbock Police Department dispatch received a call of a robbery at the Life of Luxury game room located at 5015 University.

Officers were advised an individual was robbed at knife point, and money was taken from the business. Other individuals who were at the game room followed who they believed to be the suspect to a home in the 2000 block of 37th Street. Officers responded to the location but found no evidence and determined they were not involved.

The victim left the game room prior to officers arriving, and at this time they have not been able to contact the victim for questioning.

The suspect description given to officers was a young, short white male with blonde hair weighing between 100 to 130 pounds.

This continues to be an ongoing investigation.
