Beginning Wednesday, August 10, 2016, the City of Lubbock with Utility Contractors of America will continue construction of a Sanitary Sewer Main Extension and associated roadway reconstruction across University Avenue at 109th Street through the intersection of 114th Street.
The intersection of 114th Street and University Avenue will be closed fully through September 14, 2016. This phase of the project will restrict access for traffic on 109th Street through the intersection of 114th Street across University Avenue.
Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction.
