20th Anniversary Celebration at Patterson Branch Library
The Patterson Branch Library, 1836 Parkway Drive, is celebrating African American History Month as well as the 20th anniversary of the opening of the library at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 27. The guest speaker will be Congressman Emanuel Cleaver II of Missouri, who spoke at the opening of the library in December of 1995, when he was Mayor of Kansas City.
