LUBBOCK, TX (PRESS RELEASE) — The Lubbock Public Library has several events scheduled over the next week at the various branches across the city. All the programs are free of charge. 
 
Lubbock Public Libraries Closed for Memorial Day
All Lubbock Public Library locations will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Regular hours will resume on May 26.
 
Knitting, Crochet & Spinning Yarn at Groves Branch Library
Learn to knit, crochet, and even spin your own yarn at the Groves Branch Library, 5520 19th Street, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 26. For more information, please call 767-3733.
 
Brown Bag Lunch Program at Mahon Library

Teen Movie Program at Mahon Library

Kids’ Book Club at Patterson Branch Library
