Robert Satterfield, 39, of Shallwater pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child pornography.  He was sentenced Thursday morning in State District Court to seven years in prison.

In May of 2016, Satterfield was indicted for five counts of possessing child pornography.  The indictment said he had sexual images of a child with lewd exhibition of the genitals.  One of the five counts specifically said he possessed a visual depiction of a girl under 18.

Satterfield was arrested shortly after the indictment and was held since then on a $50,000 bond.  A judge ordered that if he could make bond to get out of jail, he would be forbidden from communicating with any child under the age of 18.
