Shots Fired When Bouncers Denied Entry to Firehouse Club

On Thursday, February 25, 2016 at approximately 2:02 a.m., patrol officers responded to a report of shots fired at The Firehouse, 1719 Buddy Holly Ave.

The suspects drove up close to the front door of the business in a blue passenger car. The front passenger exited the vehicle and demanded the bouncer let him in the bar. The bouncer denied the suspect entry and the suspect returned to the car and got into the passenger seat. As they were driving away, the suspects fired several rounds from a rifle and a handgun into the air and at a parked vehicle. No one was injured.


Two suspects have been identified. Detectives need assistance identifying a third suspect. He is described as a tall black male, 25-30 years of age and was wearing a white skull cap.

The Lubbock Police Department urges anyone with information about this case to call Crime Line at 741-1000.
