Silent Wings Museum Presents ‘We Remember: Images from the National WWII Museum’

The Silent Wings Museum in Lubbock, Texas announces the opening of a special traveling exhibition; We Remember: Images from the National WWII Museum, a photographic exhibit featuring 77 images from the collections of The National WWII Museum and National Archives in New Orleans, Louisiana. The collection includes a mixture of iconic images, as well as never-before-published snapshots taken by veterans of WWII.

This exhibition is made possible by a generous grant from the CH Foundation.

The exhibit will open on Tuesday, May 10 and be on display until Sunday, June 19, 2016.

Silent Wings Museum Hours:
Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm
Sunday 1pm – 5pm

Museum entrance fees:
General Admission: $8.00
Senior Citizens (60+): $6.00
Children 7-17: $5.00
Students (with college ID): $5.00
Children 6 and under, accompanied by a family member: FREE
