Beginning Wednesday, July 13, 2016, the City of Lubbock with Utility Contractors of America will continue construction of a Sanitary Sewer Main Extension across University Avenue at 109th Street to 114th Street. University will open from 114th Street to 130th Street. In concurrence with this opening, 109th to 114th Street on University will be closed at this intersection through August 8, 2016.
This phase of the project will restrict access for traffic on 109th Street to 114th Street across University Avenue. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the construction if possible and to use extreme caution while driving in the construction.
