WHY:
Annually, the Food Bank serves 57,243 food insecure individuals across the South Plains. According to Feeding America, in the service area of the Food Bank, 96,805 individuals are considered food insecure. With the capabilities of the new distribution center, the Food Bank is working towards closing the gap of individuals being served and those who are considered food insecure but are not served.
