Jenna McMillan, 29, had the moment of a lifetime Monday night at City Bank Coliseum during the Beach Boys Concert when special guest John Stamos pulled her to the front of the stage to dance with him.

During the iconic ‘Barbara Ann’, several audience members were brought on stage and one of those lucky fans was Jenna McMillan.

McMillan has down syndrome and was in the back of the group before Stamos pulled her by the hand to the front of the stage.  He also let her take several bows to an adoring audience when the song ended.

“I had fun because I watch his show all the time,” McMillan said.

McMillan is a life-long fan of Stamos’ show Full House.  She said she’s seen every episode and has the series on DVD. Stamos’ character Uncle Jesse is her favorite.

McMillan’s mom Lisa Ashley said when she heard Stamos would be performing with The Beach Boys in Lubbock she had to get tickets.

“When he first came out on stage in the middle I took her up there then he saw her and he got down and played the guitar for her,” Ashley said.

For most that would be enough, but Ashley was determined to get her daughter a meeting. She repositioned herself so she could see Stamos during the show’s intermission.

“I yelled John one more time and pointed at her [McMillan] and he put his hand up and said ok and mentioned something to his assistant and she came over to me and said John wants her on stage,” Ashley said.

McMillan said when Stamos pulled her to the front with him she was excited and only a little bit nervous.

While McMillan and Stamos were on stage, he took a video of the both of them and posted it to his nearly two-million Twitter followers.

Ashley said it was thrilling to see her daughter up there.

“It was great,” Ashley said. “It was all for her, she enjoyed it and it’s something she will always remember so I’m glad about that.”
