Spirit Halloween Superstore in Lubbock will present donations collected from customers during the 2015 Halloween season. The money raised benefits Covenant’s Child Life department. The money will allow the department to purchase toys and other items that provide pain distraction and therapeutic play to young patients.
Also, last October, Spirit Halloween provided costumes for a special Halloween celebration at Covenant Children’s. The patients participated in various activities and games.
Since 2010, Lubbock’s Spirit of Halloween Superstore has donated $52,000 in cash and $30,000 in Halloween party items to Covenant Children’s, for a total so far of $82,000.
Nationwide, since 2007, The Spirit of Children has collected more than $29 million, and 2015 company-wide totals were more than $7 million.
