The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is schedule to begin demolition of the existing westbound Spur 327 bridge, at the MSF interchange, on Monday, April 25. The work will require closing eastbound MSF to traffic.
Traffic will be detoured around the construction area via eastbound Spur 327 and Milwaukee Avenue. The road is anticipated to remain closed until Thursday, April 28, afternoon. Message boards have been placed advising motorists of the closure and motorists are urged to seek an alternate route around the area.
Work to build new bridges at the Spur 327 and MSF interchange is part of a $40.8 million project constructing 2.8 miles of the freeway—extending it to 82nd Street.
Work will take place weather permitting
